Dial-up Internet Connection - Setup for Windows XP

This setup is only for BAM Internet customers who are using the Windows XP dial-up networking. If you are using another operating system DO NOT follow these instructions below or you may damage your existing setup.

You may want to print these instructions.

Step #1

Select the Start button, then All Programs, then Accessories, then Communications then the New Connection Wizard option.

Step #2

Select the Next button.

Step #3

Select "Connect to the Internet" and then click Next.

Step #4

Select "Set up my connection manually" and then click Next.

Step #5

Select "Connect using a dial-up modem" and then click Next.

Step #6

Enter "BAM Internet" for the ISP Name and then click Next.

Step #7

Enter the phone number of the access area you are dialing and then click Next

Step #8

Enter your login username and password and make sure the three bottom options are selected. Once completed click Next.

Step #9

Click on Finish to complete the installation process.
